raffle proposal your feedback

Each year my wife and I give a lot to Cancer charities, my wife runs Canadas largest wig store so its our way of giving back.

This year I would like to do something a bit more fun but need to gauge interest to see if it is worthwhile

I am proposing to raffle a Mitras!

These are my thoughts

1. raffle open on all public forums we sponsor
2. ticket price $50
3. raffle could be paid through paypal by sending funds as gift (see second proposal below)
4. You will need paypal account to enter
5. you will be given a raffle ticket number this number will correspond to a physical ticket with your name on it
6. On christmas day the raffle will be drawn and recorded by video and posted
7. The prize winner will be shipped 2nd week of January.
8. Everyone that requests proof of funds going to the charity will be provided this.

So who would participate?

I think this is a great way of giving back to a course that effects every single one of us somehow

To make it work we need a minimum of 20 people which makes a nice fat cheque of $1,000 to cancer research, but we want more, cmon guys!

well we are up to 11, I think we will do this.

I wil put on other forum too and get Liz to set the link on her website for Dec 1st

we will do the draw on 25th Dec, video it and upload the draw and the winning name and ticket.

yes I have decided this is the easiest option and we will add the 3% credit card fee making sure that there is an even amount $$ sent to Cancer research.

there will be 3 prizes

1st - mitras plus 15% off further mitras purchased within 3 months
2nd - 20% off Mitras valid for 3 months
3rd - 15% off as above
