Possible? A friend caled me last night, he is a permitted collector & importer, keeps a lot of livestock around. He says he has three "egg sacks" and I can have them if I want to try. Don't even know the species, I'll check it out today. He says he has hatched them out before & they lived 2-3 days. I'm assuming a free swimming larvae?? Rotifers ( oh dream of dreams) ??

I decided to pass once I saw the eggs, very tiny  I have enough projects going on anyway :D Seems this fellow gets them pretty often so I can always try at some point.

Thanks for the info though, I don't culture live algae at this time. IA wouldn't work?

Not worthy unless you find a species you can feed.

Guess I was too short:eek:
I mean that except for research purposes it is useless to raise the larvae if we can not provide the special food the adults need.
