To answer some of your questions:

We were there from Friday afternoon to the next Friday morning, so just shy of 7 days, we did a total of 20 dives.

We stayed at Raja Ampat Dive Lodge on the island of Mansuar, we saw many of the Live Aboards cruising in the same area.

I have 2 Canon Elph 300 point and shoot, one in a Canon housing, the other in a Ikelite Housing. The one in the Ikelite Housing finally flooded on my last dive in Bali.

Easy to get to? NOT! 12 hours from Jakarta and then 16 hours back to Bali. But worth every minute.....
