Ramon's Village, Ambergris Key, Belize

Anyone been there? We're going this June, taking the kids with us (have two rooms, supposed to be 40' from high tide line), we're looking to snorkel with the kids, scuba (the big blue hole scares me though, I'm still a novice diver), and check out the local wildlife on land (I'd love to see some rain forest with birds and monkeys). Suggestions on where to go, what to do, where to eat, etc?

If you get there and look in a phone book , look for a guy named Marcel Graniel he was our guide . I hired him for a week and a half. He took us places that most people dont see. He brought his boat out to Ambegris so we could go anywhere. we dove everywhere imaginable. He also took us to some ruins(zoonantaneche)bad spelling. Lots of fun
