Rarest Chalice?

If it grows and can be fragged, it's not rare. Thus making all chalices not "rare." I would use the term "rare" on items like clams or fish.

I would say the rare Chalice are the Monster Mash and the Melting Pot. Its hard enough to find the MP, but its much harder to duplicate the colors.

Oh I would have to say the My Miami. I only of 3 people that have it.
Did you meant to say " I only know " LOL

I'm next on the Mi Miami! :D Will be 33% less rare then. The Mr. Hanky Brown Eye chalice is pretty rare.

Hold on right there, no chalices are rare?

If I go onto eBay, at any time there are rare and sometimes "ultra rare" chalices for sale.

That's cause they want you to buy them... Some colors and morphs are harder to find than others, but once it starts being fragged, then others will frag it... etc... Prices will go down. Or if they dont for a while, people will just have lots of the same coral.
Remember when indo acan lords were "rare"? And superman montis?

hehe, isn't that the truth.

Rare was probaly a bad word to use there. What I meant to say is what does everybody want? What is the most coveted is probably the better word to use.

I agree with you guys and everytime I see something like that on ebay, I just have to laugh out of pure mockery.

btw, I have an "ultra extremly rare" glass anenome for sale

how can you be sure of that? don't exporters send colonies of a coral that was collected at a particular site to the wholesalers to be sold? i'm sure there is a hobbyist out there that doesn't go on the internet has a piece of it.

I am not 100% sure but I am 99.9% sure as I know the history of ''My Miami'' and did not come in threw exporters nor tranships. Thats what make fun collecting certain pieces for me as the history or story and linage and avalabilty in the hobby. Also the mother colony is very small and have talked to Jason owner of the MC and told me the history on how he aqurried this piece and that made me want it more.
