my pet peave would be when someone responds to a sale thread and asks the seller to deliver to a different city. Gas is $4 a gallon, "sure, i'll load up the tank i'm selling in buffalo and bring it to syracuse".

Also I really hate..F/S very Rare LE blaa..blaa for sale,get in on this,you may never see these again..For the low price of 1,000,000 a polyp..

You brought it up, so I'll finish it Gary. Had a buddy in a similar situation on Thanksgiving 3 years ago. Situation degenerated into a pesky plumbing clog. He used his motorized toilet snake to clear the clog. He ran it a bit too fast while feeding the snake down. As the snake hit the clog it stopped moving forward, backlashed, looped around his thumb like a miniature lasso and....POP! :eek1:

Took the tip of the thumb right off at the first knuckle.

True story, see him all the time. So be careful tonight Gary if you "run into trouble".

When someone is selling equiptment and someone asks for pictures. I understand that there can be variables to an item, however, an apple is an apple and an orange is an orange no matter how you slice it. IE: For sale, Maxi Jet 600. Some goofball will inevitably post to your thread with one word... "pics?". You don't always need a picture!
