I like your tank alot..Some real nice stuff you have.
Real nice, hoping at some point those fire goblins are going to make it to syracuse, lol.
I cant remember if you said the leds you were using are diy or commercial fixture.Been thinking about going all led recently, but the threads in the lighting forum are the size of a full book to sort through.
Anyway,your tanks looking sweet,-steve
looking very nice Henry! i am liking those redish zoa in #42... hmmm, my bro is coming to visit me from rochester, do u take paypal ;D
are you noticing energy savings with the led setup? they sure look very nice and bright![]()
Phenomenal growth, Henry!
Those lights punch right through to the bottom of the tank, don't they?
Very nice!
Looking good Henry see I told ya you would like leds not to mention the piece of mind that the battle with lighting is over
Thanks Steve, The leds are the same as the evolution leds(made by the same company in China). I don't get out to Syracuse very often but if you or anyone else is ever out this way send me a pm and i'll send some out that way..![]()
Thanks Henry,
Still got a lot to learn about led.It seems to have just really taken off in the past 6 months or so.I remember seeing your first comeback post and judging from the pics not all that long ago till now is astonishing growth wise, color is also, amazing.Nice all the way around no doubt about it.
Let you know and return with something from my tank or cash.

Henry,
- how much carbon do you regularly run,I know you stated using it in mesh bag more passive, than a reactor ,but wondering how much your using and how often your changing it out?
Having a mixed reef as well, I'm noticing a tougher balance between zoa/paly growth and sps color.I purchased a tlf reactor to run rox08 early winter and immediately noticed an improvement in sps color but it has become apparent that zoa/paly growth wise tends to slow down for me anyway.
FWIW-Thanks for the frags ,appreaciate it very much.Got some graditude frags for ya' Ill bring to the abcswap(rochester). The ones you sent are gorgeous and not frags at all more like colonies.Blown away by the goblets ,Ive never seen zoas with fringe like that, looks "hairy" or fuzzy with such long red fringe, very cool and unique.
