I have a 75 gallon setup that had a clown and hawkish so far. Well I had high nitrates at one point so I bought some red sea nitrate an phosphate reduce... I overdosed my tank an my fish passed I had an anemone that survived an is floating around in my tank since I done my 80% water change my hermits and snails have come back and my acan and zoa is making a come back but my nem has been floating around the tank since mon at times his mouth looks tight then at times its open... I've checked my water since the Chang an my ph is 8.0 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 now and nitrate 0... will he make a come back or is he done an on his way out ?

What kind of anemone is it.Cut off any pumps in dt and see if it will attach to the live rock .It it's a lta cut off pumps and make a depression in the sand near live rock and place it there to attach. How new is this tank.

Get a strawberry basket and put it over your anemone with some rock in it. Weight to basket down with a rock. This will keep the anemone from get suck into your PH or your overflow and should help him attach to the rock. Concentrate on keep water quality up and stable and hope for the best

Thanks for the help guys I will try and btw does anyone happen to know if white spots on them are bad or something I have another one and he seems perfectly healthy but has white spots all over him natural?

I've had the pumps off for about two hours and still no attachment I even set him up on a couple of spots and nothing he still moving around

Let him be for a while. As long as he isn't lying face(mouth) down, he should be fine. Also as suggested, the basket with a rock to hold it down and a rock underneath is good advice. Once he attaches to the rock your can place the rock near your rocks and it may find a place it likes better. Also remember, BTAs like to have their foot in a hole or crevice or under a ledge - they will not stay directly on top of a rock.
