Red Dragon broken... what now ?

I live in Brazil and got a gift for my new tank... a BBKing 200 with only one problem...

Red Dragon 1000 is dead.

As researched I found that only in Europe I could find a EU 450,00 Replacement that with local taxes and etc... could raise up to US$1200,00 locally.

So here is my question: Is there any other pump that we could use on a BBKing 200 Protein skimmer ?

Thank you all for the answers...

Best regards.

I mean I am sure you can use another pump (although not ideal). If the pump was delivered broken is there no warranty service that can get you a new pump with no cost to yourself?

Thanks Shaginwagon13 for the answer... the BBKing is a gift from a friend (used) and with the Red Dragon broken...

I just need to know what pump could fit on BBKing... best regards.

Is it a dead motorblock or a bad impeller assembly? Those are really the only two things that can go wrong, and both are readily available in the US.

Hi Carlos,

if the Motorblock is 120 Volt/60 Hz, please contact Premium-Aquatics. If the Voltage is 220 Volt/50 Hz (Brazil has both) contact our service support@royal-exclusiv.de

All Parts on Stock and aviable ....

best regards... Klaus

As stated above, you can buy every part for those pumps.
