Looking good. Its hard to be patient with the ro/di. Just don't forget about it, like someone i know :)

I have it connected to a 32 gallon Brute trash can with a float valve, after that can is full,I pump it into another can and mix the salt,I'm afraid I'd have a flood if did it any other way

Well I have some fibergalss remover on part of it as a test and the silicone turned to mush so I took a crowbar down there and can move the panel a little, I am hoping with a friend I can get two crowbars in there and get it to pop out.

I did see a few areas on the panel that will need some sanding to clear it up. I have just done to much work there and caused some scratches but that is not a big deal.

sounds like you're about to get the window out :)

Wow, cool pictures, keep em coming. I myself have been busy lately, I broke my DIY sump after slaming my fist to it out of furiousity :furious: (dont ask). So, I had to remove the broken acrylic panel and replace it, sump looks extremely ugly now cause I had to remove other panels because it was a desinged for freshwater and I decided to go salt. had to patch it here and there but to my surprise it holds water after the repairs (I will post a picture tomorrow "if you guys promise not to get confused" :hmm4: ).

I've had to refrain from similar tantrums. I just stop for a second and think, now how much will this cost me. :eek1:

I had a problem years ago with cyno that I was tired of dealing with. I took all of the livestock out and poured a gallon of bleach into the tank, haha. In hindsight that wasn't the best idea

thats what bugged me the most, taking down the 150....I finally beat the cayno, after fighting it for seemed like months....I will most likely have to go through that again....but in the long run it'll be worth it

I normally smoke about 2 packs of cigarettes a day,yesterday I smoked 3 cigarettes,today I haven't smoked a one,I feel like I am about to snap,these 2 little guys are killing me :smokin: :bum:

I guess I will share my story since you guys did. So my sump was on its side standing at its tallest,I was cleaning the thing and wondering how I can remove some unwanted panels when my kids decided to ask me for something to drink but they didnt ask all at a time (its like they planned it) they asked one by one but they would wait until I sat back down next to the sump to ask. Now I have 4 kids and I am only 25 so naturally I dont have the patience to keep up with them by myself (wife was not home). So by the fourth time I slammed my fist to the darn thing and sadly it broke which made me turn into the exorcist for a few seconds but I had to calm down for the kids...two minutes later wifey walks through the door...I felt like punching her hahaha J/K. Pretty stupid huh? And here you guys are battling cyano for weeks, next time I will try to breathe longer I guess.

mightyevil, the older you get,the more mellow you become....I used to destroy stuff like that, when I was younger....now that I'm older,it just takes too much energy... :)

Yeah, I believe you...as a matter of fact I have noticed the change over time, I am slowing down. Happens to the best of us! :D

I will post my picture when I get out of work.

I turn 40 this year, kids getting older, now my wife and I are trying to have another baby. I think i need my head examined :)

I turned 42 in January this year,my kids are 17 and 15,if we were to have another now,I'd just pull out the rest of my hair......as my daughter says...all 3 of 'em :)

LOL..."all 3 of 'em" that was funny

That is what I am afraid of, kids growing too quick. I know I will miss them and that is why I have been trying to be a better parent for them...sniff sniff, we should probably get back to aquariums before I open up a 40 oz.

So here are the pictures of my ugly sump...

I guess it doesnt look too ugly in pictures and if it does, trust me, it is worse.

Mightyevil,
The sump looks fine to me.

My air conditioner went out today. I having to float ice packs in the aquarium and turned most lights off to keep temps down. I'm trying not to have an "episode"
