I think photobucket lets you upload videos, or you can do it on youtube. Fairly easy on youtube, let me know if you need to be guided.

cool,I have a digital video camera that uses the mini DVDs,if I can find someone that can operate it,I'll be set :D

Willie, I am really rolling on my 193g plywood tank now.

I have a question regarding the polario. Does it work with the 3/4 plywood and the coats of paint/ epoxy?

I was thinking a polario would be nice, but kind of $$ for me at the moment. DFS has the rio superflow prop pumps on sale now, and the 1500 gph ones are only like 50 dollars each. I use a sieo prop pump 320 on my 90g, and I really like it. I wonder if the magnet on the 1000 and the 1500 seio prop pumps are the same magnets as the polario ones?

my polario is holding fine through the 3/4" plywood, that magnet would hold through 1" plywood......the other magnet mounts,I don't know if they are the same or not,but they'd probably hold too.....I've never seen magnets that strong before, when I had it in my 150g with 1/2" glass,my son had to help me position it in the tank.....I mounted it my self but when the 2 halves met,I couldn't move it any more

Cool thanks Willie.

Now what is your opinion on the polario? I saw your review on marine depot, but would like your opinion now after a few months of use.

I am trying to get the cheapest way of wave making that will get it done on a tank this big.

:lol:I am almost ashamed to tell this:lol:
a few months back it stopped working,I panicked,I e-mailed MD raising h**l,told them I wanted to retract me review and didn't want people thinking I was happy with the piece of s**t that should last longer than 3 months, they were extremely nice and didn't get upset at me,they contacted the manufacture for the warranty.....while waiting on the manufacture to contact me,I noticed the polario had a fuse on it,the fuse was blown:lol:......after I apologized to MD for being an A$$ ....the manufacturer contacted me,I told them what happened, they said that if it gets a lot of build up on the prop,it overloads the controller and blows the fuse, its a safety feature to protect the pump motor......it was kinda cruddy,I cleaned it up good and replaced the fuse,it's working like a charm again.........if it'd had an actual problem,I don't know how the manufacturer would have been, but they contacted me within a day or two after MD contacted them, maybe their customer support is ok too

the fan in my controller is a little noisy, the controller could use more features but it does what its supposed to.....it loses its setting during a power outage, that I don't like....it has a delay between directions and a soft start, the GPH is variable,it doesn't create waves, there's too much lag time between directions, but it does change the water flow direction rapidly........it's working great in my 8 ft long tank.....in the 4 ft that I had it in,I had trouble getting the placement just right, too high,it sucked in air,too low it kept the sand stirred up...it is kinda big and not too pretty to look at,it makes a slight humming noise while running but my lighting fans are louder...... it moves a huge amount of water :D

the magnet mount is dangerously strong,it came packaged with a 1/2" thick piece of rubber between the magnet halves

Wow, quite the story Willie. Pretty funny though...wish I could have seen the look on your face when you discovered the blown fuse  must have been a Kodak moment :D

as much electronics as I've dealt with,I used to install car stereos and stuff,I have always checked the fuse first, when a problem occurred,it just never crossed my mind that the polario had a fuse,it's right on the bottom of the controller easy to see....I felt like a dumb a$$,especially after showing my crazy side to marine depot....but they were great about it :D

That is pretty funny Willie!

I think I am sold on the seio controller, running 2 of the 1500gph seio prop pumps on my 193g tank. I can get the controller for 150, and 2 1500 gph prop pumps for like 45 each. I don't think I can touch that kind of flow for that little $$ otherwise. I could use a MJ mod and get 2000 gph per side on the seio controller if I need a little more flow, but I don't think I will need any more with my return and my K3.

A local guy uses 2 mj mods on his seio controller and it works very well.

I looked at the specs of the magnet mount on the polarios, and it is a stronger one than the 1000 and 1500 gph versions of the seio prop pumps use. I will get around this issue by just siliconing in 2 L brackets of acrylic into the inside of my tank. Then the magnets will only have to hold to the 1/4" acrylic.

I added my modded mj's back to my tank a few days ago after my cyano outbreak,I'm using the suregrip magnets through the 3/4 plywood to hold them on,you can tell there not as good as through thinner glass, but they are holding :D

You need to hook up that Hammerhead. :D I don't think the cyno would be able to hold on in that typhoon. :D

I agree,but I'm still saving for the OM :(
