Reef-A-Palooza (RAP) is an annual event promoted by the Southern California Marine Aquarium Society (SCMAS). Now in its 10th year, RAP can best be described as an indoor marketplace where sellers, exhibitors, and hobbyists of all types can buy, sell, trade, showcase their products to the marine hobbyist community. The main purpose of Reef-A-Palooza is to provide an enjoyable, positive atmosphere that is conducive to education and trade of both product and knowledge. As such, participating exhibitors range from large manufacturers, to retailers, to small livestock sellers, and participating hobbyists range from the beginner to the elite, rare-species coral farmer. It is the perfect venue to showcase new products in the marine aquarium industry. We strive to rally a diverse range of participants into the two-day event so as to present the best value and interest to everyone involved. Considering our current bookings and the popularity of previous years (3900 attendees in 2011 and over 4,300 attendees in 2012), we expect 80+ exhibitors/exhibitors and well over 4,000 attendees this year!

Gotta start making plans for RAP. If you have't been to one I highly recommend going. Taking the wife this year.

I'm going this year with my cousin... can you buy coral there too?

I would highly recommend anyone buying corals to bring a small cooler. I think there should be more corals this year then ever. I wish Zoanuts? was still around I recall them throwing down boxes and boxes of acans.

wow, I'll be spending some money on coral haha. Do they sell things like lights too?

Cool. I would like to go there this year. I was wondering about the corals prices??? good prices?

Well that depends on what you are looking for. Just like other swaps and shows, near the end the deals start getting better.

The clubs and hobbyist booths should also have some nice corals at reasonable prices.

Currently their are 6 club booths registered, along with 5 hobbyist farmers.

^^i know where to get the true Rouge Milli I'll PM you info. I'm looking for some old school pieces that I probably won't find and possibly the BPC Flamethrower. I have a guy in Atlanta that has the original BPC and were working a trade out now so maybe sooner than later I will get it. Im flying out in September so I will try to pick it up and ship it back or take it on the ride back if possible.
