This saddens me to post..but I wish only the best for you Menard.

I am sorry to annouce that after 8 wonderful years of serving the marine hobbyest community of Chicago, we are closing our doors. For that matter, everything must be liquidated.

man, that is going to suck. I remember when he first started at the old location. Menard is the one to blame for my addiction to montis!!!!

That really sucks.

Are there any more details such as how much longer he'll be open for and what hours during that time frame?

I'd really like to head down there but I am gone most of the weekend.

That's too bad. I've been there twice during my lunch break but never got to buy anything. Now I feel guilty.
 
That's too bad. I've been there a few times and was always amazed at his cherry pickin tank. I wish you the best of luck in all of your endeavors Menard.
 
My buddy picked up a bunch of nice stuff tonight. He grabbed me a huge 10"+ green Hyacinthus. Man what a beauty and cheap too! Thanks Menard! :D

On another note... I sure hope you'll still be a part of the RC community. It's nice to have knoweledgeable people like you around.
 
wow unbelievable great guy great store people need to support the brick and mortar guys more im sure all the online ordering contributed a little to this,how much longer will you be upen menard never got a chance to pick up that dolomite.best of luck to you.such a shame to see a good business like this leave esp from a area that starving for stores of this type
