Wife and I decided to rent instead of buying. It wouldn't cost as much since we'd most likely have to do some work to our first house. So renting for us would be better for the next 2ish years.
That being said, the owner at my favorite LFS here in Vegas gave me quite a good price on a Visio 120 with a stand. It's not rimless and has a middle glass brace. I'd add a canopy to a rimmed tank for that matter. But it was much less than a Reefer 425. I've even considered the Reefer 350. But the 120 would allow me to use any sump I'd like and having a canopy would allow me to not have to hang any lights from the ceiling.
While it won't be the modern and contemporary look I was hoping to go, the price might just out weigh the want for that look while giving me more room in the tank than both Reefer 350/425XL would offer.
Still have time to think.. But my mind is going nuts on which route to go!
