Reefsavvy's Ghost Overflow: Patent Pending?

So you are now telling me that ReefSavvy will now be charging more in the future for this overflow box? If so that is down right crazy. No way is costs that much to make these overflows.

How do these compare to glas holes?\

I really want to wait for the ghost overflow and will but not if the price is going to be higher. They are already borderline overpriced IMO.

Why should they sell it at cost or near cost?

Other companies will enter the market if there is enough demand.

I don't think anyone holds a patent on this stuff. I've not looked it up, though. Have you?

Brandon

If you're trying to say something, if anything Bean and Herbie should get a royalty from Reef Savvy for each unit sold but I bet they're not.

For what, exactly? Nothing they've done is patentable, as far as I know. No patents show up under Bean Animal's name (William Burnett), although I didn't check for the Herbie. My understanding is that the siphon that his design is dependant on is a natural occurance and cannot be patented and therefore is not patented.

A siphon is not natural by any means however this plumbing method has been used for nearly 2,000 years so I'm certain the Roman patent has expired.

It is commonly used in resevoirs, water treatment facilities, and countless industrial plants.

Ok, I've deleted quite a few posts here. First this is not a selling forum. Secondly, anyone who manufactures products can not sell them here.
