Refurbished RODI

I'm considering getting the Spectrapure refurbished http://spectrapure.com/Refurbished-90-GPD-RODI-System
To those that are familiar with this system:
If my tap water reads at 350 TDS can I expect cartridge lifetime output to be in 100s of gallons or in 1000s?
How often do you change the cartridges??
All at once or individual, as needed?

How much water are you making a week? Our tap water runs about 320 TDS. I have a 120 gallon tank and a 20 gallon tank running. I change out my pre-filters every 6 months and the RO membrane about once every 2-1/2 years. You will save money in the long run if you add a second DI canister to the system since it will allow you to get full use of the DI resin and you will also want an inline TDS meter. By the time you add those upgrades it may be less expensive to find a packaged deal that already has those items included rather than adding them on separately.

The filters wear out at different times, according to what's in your tapwater. Some may be pure as driven snow while others are a yellow mess.
