Reverse Filter Socks?

While trying to wash my filter socks out with a hose nozzle, I realized this is backwards. After a discussion with a fellow reefer, that has a 3-D printer, we are going to try and come up with something. Has anyone else done this? The Sock would have to have a cage/retainer, for proper flow. Someway to release the bubbles from the returns. Thinking the sock plate slightly tilted, with the high side open. A couple small holes in the sock chamber, for a pod escape.

Can you post a picture/diagram of what you’re thinking? I’m having a difficult time envisioning what you’re trying to describe.

@kharmaguru does some 3D printing if I remember correctly.
