I've been looking at a huge (about 4-5" across) hairy mushroom (not an elephant-ear mushroom; I think this one is a kind of rhodactis) at my LFS as a possible anemone substitute for my ocellaris. I don't entirely trust it though, having seen pictures of similar corals eating fish (there's a picture of a huge one eating a Banggai cardinal in Eric Borneman's book). Any experiences (even secondhand) with this?
And is there any way to ask about something called a "hairy mushroom" without feeling like you're asking for a bunch of bad dirty jokes?
