Tim? Pfft. :p C'mon Rob, we need more of a fix. :D How 'bout anudder hit? :smokin:

Nice living room BTW. I love your dark floors. We had dark walnut stain throughout the entire house. Then my wife decides she wants a natural oak, no stain. It's aiight, but I much prefer the darker floor. :(

OK Tim. YOu're off the hook... for now. ;) Are you using any type of cement of putty?

More aquascape pics!

I'm going to do the exact same thing and mock up my tank in plywood so I can build structures around bulkheads.

Thanks for letting me off the hook Paul!;) Regarding the assembly of rock, we used the acrylic rod, a couple tie wraps only where needed and epoxy. We tried two different epoxies-AquaStik Underwater Epoxy and the Aquascape brand. I found that the Aquastick set alot quicker and allow us to proceed faster. Thats not to say the Aquascape didnt work, it just took longer to bond.

Hey Nexdog, what really worked great for me is laying out on the cardboard the two bulkheads from the bottom pane and as for the closed loop and return bulkheads on the back I ended up cutting some cardboard bulkheads and hanging them from the frame in their locations. It really helped alot. Hope this helps any.

Sounds good. I bought a bucket o' Thorite cement, which is probably overkill. But it seems people like Sanjay have had good success with using it.

I'm unsubscribing until Tim show us the aquascape.... !!
Ouch Ed! Well if you do then you're going to miss out on my finished fishroom pics later today. Its pretty much complete and looking good. I added a little finishing touch to the outside of the fish room. Pics later....off to Oceans Motions right now to pick up nozzles.

Hey guys, we went to OceansMotions today to meet Paul and figure out what we are going to do with all the flow in the tank!

He basically revamped the whole flow system to create a continuous barrel roll effect for maximum turnover. All I have to say is, Paul is the man for this! We were there for a few hours as he built us 4 custom Omni Flex nozzles on the spot! These things are awsome! You can do whatever you want with them while maintaining a low profile.

A big thanks to Paul for taking almost 3 hours of his day to not only build us these, but to take the time to explain how proper flow and turnover actually works.

A few pics, All bulkheads and nozzles will be painted black before water is in the tank!
