Hey guys, Tim and I have both been very busy.
The tank is up and running now! I seen it tonight and it looks awesome! It has taken the week to get all the equipment dialed in, but everything is good so far.
Tim should have some pics soon.
And any of you guys looking for a brand new box Sfilogoi XR6 2x250, let me know! I am selling mine.

Wow, that must have been tough losing all those fish. Were you able to determine the cause? As far as my QT I have a 40 gallon tank I will first use for QT purposes and down the road I will set up as an inline with sump as a frag tank.
I know its been a while since last posting but this past week was pretty hectic for me I had to spend a few days working out of town. Luckily I had Rob to help monitor the system for me throughout the tanks cycling period. Since clearing up, all levels are reading favorably and I have now added some fish: purple, yellow and blue hippo tangs, longnose hawkfish and 6 blue green chromis. Also added were a cleanup crew of 10 snails and 3 hermits. I plan on putting in a few corals this week.

More shots of the fishroom now fully plumbed and and in full operation. I am still needing to clean up some minor items such as hiding wiring, hoses as well as filling the gaps in the wall around the piping.

Tonight Rob and I tested all the water parameters. Results are as follows:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0
DKH: 11
Ph: 8.4
Calcium: 400-410ppm (hoping to increase to 450)
PO4: undetected
Salinity: 1.025
Water temp: 79.5 deg
Will be picking up a magnesium test kit tomorrow.
