Rimless Aquarium Club

greenleafaquariums.com has a 36x18x18 i knowthats smaller than what your looking for but the owner was telling me that they may be getting some 120g tanks built

I believe (if I can recall correctly) DSA (Deep Sea Aquatics in Dallas, Tx formerly Oceanic) quoted me about $2,000 for a rimless 48"x30"x20", black silicone, one overflow, & starphire front, with black 4 door oak stand. DSA doesn't deal direct with customer, so you would need to get a quote thru a LFS, which is what I did.

Of course, I eventually scored a brand new custom built Ocean View 48"x30"x19" with brand new custom built stand & canopy for $800 total. It was Eurobraced, but with the canopy I no longer cared about rimless design (especially at the price I scored it at).

Anyways, you might want to check out DSA, & they may can put you in contact with a LFS near you who can get you a quote & save you on shipping.

P.S. DSA is very high quality product.

jt48- can we get some info on Coast to Coast? Never heard of them.

cvd55- Who is your tank builder?

I am currently shopping prices at the moment. Poor Derek from Miracles get's a new dimension from me for a quote each week. Ha!

I want this one to last me a while. I am debating on two sizes at the moment

48L x 24W x 18D

So far GlassCages is only about $400 cheaper than Miracles. I have not been able to get a quote from AGE but I expect them to be higher then the others from what I've seen.

I am waiting on quotes for my new Favorite Size ( From Grundigs and TheDogFather's Threads)

48L x 30W x 18D

Back to Miracles. I was qouted $2525 for a 30x30x24 rimless with front starphire and stand shipped from Canada to Pa.
Coast to Coast in NJ qouted $3740 for same tank and stand with pick up at site.

OMG glad i live in Sweden where glass is relatively inexpensive.

My tank is 40x32x12 and cost me a little over 200$ custom made by my LFS predrilled and all.. I did have to build the overflowchamber myself..

Of course no stand in that price..I built the stand myself.

Speaking of european rimless:

My new rimless from Germany:

My other rimless from Italy:

Both tanks were very expensive, maybe because I live in USA :)

Good to see it's all coming together Mav!!

You need many more corals to fill that baby up like you had the RSM

It's getting there Alpha:thumbsup:. I see your tank as TOTM in the near future. You got an awesome build and can't wait to see more. I'm going to try and not get too many corals this time around. I kinda like the open space..hehe.

Hey guys, can you tell me how low your water level is from the top of the tank? It looks like you have a 1.5"-2" gap.

Cali - is that a new overflow design? Did you modify it? I like these tanks but was never fond of the size overflow they put in them.
