I love the Elos tanks but have never seen one in person. They are very expensive and I am going to use AGE.

Most definitely black. I just got my rimless tank last night and I went with black silicone.

Hehe, that would be a good forum. I went with a Leemar tank this time around. While my last tank was an Elos, I decided to save some money this time around. My Leemar is probably 97% as good as an Elos at a savings of around 50%.

and encouraging as well!!!
to know that another major aquarium manufacturer is confident in making such a tank with 3/8" thick glass...( just like I heard Elos uses)

I had the glass for my 52gal rimless (27x24x19H) cut out of 3/8" too and everyone in the DIY forums seems to impress upon safety factors requiring 1/2"-3/4" thick glass...which of course is much more expensive to buy...
I always thought people were just being "overly cautious" with their suggestions and perhaps now I can feel more confident with my upcoming build...

yea its 3/8 thick i measure it. Perfecto frame their bottom you just cant see it because of the stand.
