Just saw a 6 foot rimless tank on you tube with a wave maker , the tank was a 21" but only filled at the 18" mark I think lol no kidding. Saw a Eurobraced without a top very scruffy looking with all the dry salt on the underside panels and the light being refracted on it, if I'm going topless rimless would be better I guess. :hmm2:

I've had a rimless tank for 2 1/2 years and love it. The look is very clean and modern. I clean the outside glass evry week or two, and as long as you are careful when doing maintenance, you don't make much of a mess. I've had one jumper, and it was a Sand sifting goby that I didn't reasearch well. I now have 2 clowns, a yellow tang, a mandarin, 2 chromis and a dottyback nd they are all doing well. I also have a traditional framed corner tank, ao I can compare the two styles. I've never lost a snail in either tank.
For me, the bottom line is the beauty of a rimless is worth the minimal extra work and caution regarding fish choice.

Why did you go back to the traditional look?
