Round Two - Substantial Storm System Forecasted for Friday

Mike you could always try and rent one now so that you would have one if you need it....better to have one and not need it then need it and not have it....

Or, use a credit card and buy it and then take it back if you end up not needing it. You wouldn't be out anything but would have it if you need it.

I been looking at a Generac 3250W for $450. For exta $50 I can get it before the storm. I don't have the money now so it would be a credit purchase and I'm not sure if I'm wanting to do that at the moment. I live close to town in a high population area so I might be banking on the fact that any outages might not last long. It's potentially a dangerous gamble.

I got a mitsubishi 3500watt for $299 at Magic Mart and it done an excellent job during the last outage which lasted 4 days.

I'm not willing to take that gamble but you know were I live and I just have too much invested. I already lost about 12 or so corals in the last storm so I hope I far better this time.

I love seeing snow but I hate the thought of losing power. I see the same as you that it looks like it is largely going to miss us. Fantastic!

How is everyone fairing? I haven't been able to get out to measure but it looks like a decent amount of snow (5+"). So good so far with the electricity. :)

So this is one of the snowiest winters we have had in awhile. Round Three due this weekend. Not the forecast, but the weather models are showing we could get another 6-8" in Charleston over the weekend. Might be a good thing we didn't schedule the meet this weekend. We might of been doing it over candles. :)
