Jeremy, will these be shipped out in the order they were purchased? I would love to see mine this weekend.
I heard that Team RC Members get priority :D

We are going to do our best (picture me setting on a pallet of skimmers cracking a whip on the backs of packers) to ship everyone's order out the same day they come in to us. The only thing that would most likely prevent this from happening is if the pallets show up after 2 or 3pm or so, then they would all go the following day.

Jeremy....I just tried to place the pre-order for the skimmer and I'm getting a fatal error message. I still see the pre-order offer on the site. Is the offer no longer available?

"Fatal Error"

Miva Merchant has encountered a fatal error and is unable to continue. The following information may assist you in determining the cause of the error:

Thats a cool idea. Some pics of the skimmers and the operation to ship them back out would be fun.

The skimmers arrived in Chicago today, and will be getting to us on Monday now. I'll take some pics as soon as the truck pulls up! :)

Sheldon,

I'll give you a heads up on yours once it goes.

Thanks,
Jeremy

How many skimmers are in this "first" order and is there enough to go round for other dealers...? Just curious???

We do still have them available for order. I can not speak for other resellers as to what they have gotten though. We are not selling any of ours to other resellers.

Thanks,
Jeremy

anticipation building...

I made all the required sump modifications, and built a skimmer shelf at exactly 8" this weekend. I'm now officially ready for my shiny new skimmer!

skimmer break-in

skimmer break-in

Also, I have a general "skimmer break-in" question.

Are there any special break-in instructions for these, or just your standard "vinegar bath" approach like this:
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1604550

I had my last skimmer a while, and it was purchased used. So its been a long while since I had to "break-in" a skimmer. What is prefer method these days?

I found this "Operation Manual" for the BubbleKing Mini which instructs to put the skimmer in your sump and run it without the head until you get the desired foam.

TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!!!!!

.....pics to follow...........

Nice, Will they be ship out today? Thanks!

They are going out tomorrow. They are strapped onto the pallets now. We have to check them in, then start packing. It takes approximately 15 mins to ship a single Bubble King skimmer, so instead of shipping some today, and the rest tomorow, we thought it would be more fair to ship everyone at once, which will be tomorrow.

Thanks,
Jeremy
