The bonus isn't real big, so don't get your hopes up too much, but it's a nice little added feature to make skimmer perform better on a wider array of tank sizes, plus a little more performance on those larger systems.

100 % agree.... a good product, need Time. Or the first 100 Cones are arrived last week in Canada.

These skimmers have been released and are being loaded on pallets getting ready to be truck freighted to Indianapolis!

Most likely it will be the following week. The trucking company should have them to us by mid to end of the week. Once I get the tracking number from the trucking company I'll keep it updated here on the day it will be arriving.

What's the optimal water depth that this skimmer should be in... 6", 7", 8"??? Does anyone know... if this has been addressed forgive me please.

7" - 8" will be the "sweet spot" for it, however you could go as low as 5" - 6", or as deep as 12" if really needed. The performance will slightly change that deep though.

So in an effort to beat up on the competition even a little more, the mad skimmer scientist himself (Klaus), decided to push the envelope of this pump even more. He thought that 38w and 1500LPH of air draw just wasn't good enough (yeah, right), so he customized a brand new venturi for those larger tanks that will now have this pump running up to 1800LPH of air draw!!! :eek1:

For those of you who are going to run these on smaller systems (180-200gal or less) the standard 1500LPH venturi will be for you. Those who are going bigger, put that super venturi on there and let the monster do it's damage!

Guys, we're still talking around 40w of power, with 1800LPH of air draw on this little motor. This skimmer will make some serious FOAM!!!

All of the skimmers will ship via UPS Ground from our location as soon as they are in the door.
