Royal-Exclusiv / Vertex Cone Coming Soon!!!!

I apologize, however I think this is the only fair way. I think in the grand scheme of things waiting only 1 extra day isn't too big of a deal. I understand how exciting it is to get something new that you have waited on forever, but this really is the most fair way for us to handle it.

Thanks Jeremy. I'd rather see the skimmers properly packed up for shipping to avoid damage than rushing them out the door.

We will have two shipping guys working on nothing but this tomorrow, to have them all go out the door the same day. Before each one of the cones, or any BK for that matter, leaves our door they are opened, inspected, sealed back up, and then rewrapped with a double wall outer layer of cardboard over the original box to ensure safe arrival.

There are absolutely no shortcuts taken when we ship products, especially Royal-Exlusiv products!

Here they are working away as we speak.

If this ends up being 3 months then I'll let all of you come to Indianapolis and personally beat me over the head!

In all honesty, I really don't think it will come to that. :)

Darn it, it only made it to two months. No beating for you. :p

All I can say is that I have never seen a foam head this stable on a brand new skimmer before in my life, and I've used a lot of skimmers! The foam head is dead steady. Look how high I could get it in the neck 5 minutes after being fired up, and it did not spill over at all. I have 3 other people with me who commented on how steady it was! :eek1: :D

I used the smaller venturi for a couple of minutes, which I noticed it wasn't quite as steady as the larger, but still pretty darn good for just being fired up. This is mostly due to the fact that the restricted venturi at 1500LPH will push just slightly more water, and the 1800LPH slightly slows down water flow. Having said that, the amount of water both of these push out of the exhaust is insane!

This is my new motto....

If my wife asks, it was only $20.

That is PRICELESS swiseman, priceless!~

LOL I think the jig was up on that one along time ago. My LFS used to give me receipts for $20 for everything when I first started as kind of a joke. Ironically, all my wife's shoes and purses cost $20 as well.

That's funny the last time I wanted to spend over a grand on a skimmer my wife said she didn't mind because she has a handbag that cost 1600

Seems like ya got the water level set a bit high there, mister. :bum:

You mean I can't run the water level that high in the skimmer? ;)

How do you read that meter Jeremy. Is it the top, middle, or bottom of the bubble. Could read 24, 27, or 30. I assume it is the top as that would give you the reported 1800L/H

Correct, it is at the top. That meter is also not connected properly with the venturi line, and it was leaking, so I could see actual air readings of 1800LPH plus.

Well, I don't know how but my skimmer arrived today (tuesday) and its already running in my tank!
This thing is a BEAST! I had know idea it would be as large as it is. But, I'm very happy about that because my tank needs a large skimmer. It fired up and started making a nice head of foam instantly. Its only been running for a few hours now and its already starting to pull out gunk.
I love this skimmer already!
Thanks guys!
