RR jaw dropper

I keep mine similar to my understanding of the farmers positioning...high light and high flow, temp around 77 and it is quite hardy.

"quite hardy" makes me happy. should be seeing it locally in a year or two then...
i'll be waiting, super nice coral

Frag and full colony shot looks awesom! Never seen that color combo! Still beyond my price point, so I'll wait a couple of years if it survives to reach the general public of hobbyists. Right now, price is set for hard core collectors.

Man I'm sick of the hype surrounding this coral. Someone let me know when this coral can maintain its color and grow well in captivity. Reef raft gets some gorgeous corals, but the fact remains that they're just hacked up wild colonies and don't have a very good record of maintaining color or being hardy. I'd suspect eople aren't posting pics of their frags growing out because they've either lost them or they don't look very good.

Again.... I already posted the grown out mother colony that has been in captivity for about a year and a half, look back in thread. Don't hate.

I definitely would like a frag. I was trying to get a few people to go in together and do a grow out but I don't know what it takes to bring coral in from Canada. Is it costly? Does the coral come next day?

I have a 1/2 frag of the "Jaw Dropper" since a week. I can post a pic but with a 1/2 frag cut he his still pale but getting there slowly.

Maybe later.... :D
