There is nothing more to the story period.
Puppy Center was in the process of a chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization. When the bankruptcy court convened with the parties involved, the landlord did not agree with the plan and reneged on a new lease.
Court said no lease = no plan and ruled against Puppy Center putting them in chapter 7 liquidation.
