The onesnthe sent didn't fit. Two different pieces

I'd contact them. But to be honest, they seemed like regular foam poster boards you can probably get at a dollar store or school supply section of any store and just cut to fit.

I glad yours is working well Soul - Again I cant thank you enough for all your efforts. I need to buy you a beer - or what ever you prefer. Made up terrible drawings pretty quickly - and have sent them to get bids.

I am hoping to hear form SCA soon - Steve did get a text yesterday he was super busy. I don't have anything concrete for him at this point anyhow. Some of the acrylic people say they will send him a template for drilling. Others don't - or not yet anyhow. Already got a bid from Obsession - he was awesome and understood via talking on the phone exactly what I was trying to do.

Ben at BAO is awesome to deal with. He was talking to me from his recent vacation as we talked over some designs. Great customer service and his products are top notch. I have quite a few in my stand and will have more here shortly...

Mine came with foam boards and I used them. I questioned them at first and even confirmed with them.
I used mine but they are ugly tbh as the edge is white. I took a sharpie to it all the way around and called it a day.

Well- I heard back from Steve "Chow". The Eurobraces on the 150 are: and I quote

"They are 2-1/4” wide. And the front and back braces are 7/8” down from the top and the side braces are 3/8” down."

He did not tell me how thick they are - i re-emailed and asked . I am now re-designing the internal overflow as our measurements were apparently incorrect - hmm.. Soul- I looked at your pic and it seemed right on at 1/2 inch from the top, and 2.5 inches wide.

I am now thinking about making the overflow be a horizontal gap between the Eurobrace and the internal overflow box with the front panel of the overflow box angled backwards. Because if the Eurobrace is 7/8 inch down from the top of the tank and it is 1/2 inch thick = 1 3/8 inches. So, the best any vertical ( parallel with the front edge of the Eurobrace) can result is a water level that is 1.75 -2.0 inches from the top of the tank. However if you make the gap horizontal with the Eurobrace - then you can have your water level at 1 3/8 inches from the top of the tank = much better.

* I had no idea I was creating such a issue by not wanting to use the stock middle tower overflow.

I am thinking about using Black Sand - but have heard from some people it is magnetic and from other it isn't. I like the look of it.

^ I am pretty sure they come all come with pads.
I took a black marker and went around the white edges.

the mat itself is black on top and bottom but the middle is white. quick fix..

ACER yes most seams to be the Hawaiian is for sure as its volcanic looks cool tho but can get in your magfloat/cleaner and scratch your nice new tank. I was thinking about it to in a 20L macro tank i'll be setting up. also keep in mine it looks dirty after a few months and it really shows dirt and poop... but it can be done but seams like not many ppl keep it more than 6 months or so...

there also a black and white mix it you fancy the salt and pepper look.

I also emailed the people at SC Aquariums about being able to use the reef savvy or synergy reef ghost overflow. They told me they could drill for it but would have to be placed below the brace and I don't want that so they are speaking the the tank manufacturers to see what the cost would be to do the tank rimless out of 15mm starphire to accommodate the ghost overflow.

ahhhh - that would be great.... I would even be happy to purchase the tank with the same 12mm glass thickness and just put the eurobrace at the top of the tank- not nearly an inch below the top of the tank.
