Thank you. I have a window next to the tank and in front of the tank, so anytime I try to get a FTS when it's light out always gives me bad glares off the glass. Only way I get decent FTS is at night.
 
I figured I would ask again since I posted the question the same time you posted and might of missed it. Do you think a calc reactor helps coral growth compared to dosing? I'm wanting to try a reactor but worry about ph since I'm already close to the low side of 7.9ish

I honestly couldn't say. I've only used a doser once on a frag tank, and it was a headache. I do believe that melting dead coral skeletons is better than just dosing alk and calcium. Not sure if there is any science behind that, but it sure sounds good. Hahaha

My ph swings from 7.6-7.9. I don't think you should be concerned with low ph.
