Lol, I figured once I posted the tank size opinions would change a bit ;)

I could try and apply for some neon gobies. Don't want to try and make the other fish feel cramped though

Also as you may have guessed, I work at an aquarium. I can post some more tank shots when I go back to work on wednesday (along with a few of the other inhabitants), but I do kind of want to keep where I work private, so they might be from slightly strange angles.

So, why keep your employer private? And why would aquarists input be useful in providing information on stocking an 85,000 gallon tank? And more importantly, why not provide that information up front?

This thread is nothing but trolling................you know the answer to your questions. If you don't, your boss should have never hired you or put you in charge of the tank.

Oh, but my dear Easttuth, nothing is impossible. A closed mind is the only thing that can ensure things have a 0% chance of happening.

Sounds like one of those statements preceded by "here, hold my beer".

Would made sense to state the tank size and situation right up front. As a professional aquarist you should know that stocking levels and certain fish mixes are can only be determined based on that information. So how could you possibly have expected any valid feedback without supplying that info up front? After all, based on your initial post, for all anyone could know you were working with a nano tank.

This^

A simple "Hey I get to work with this tank, check out some pics" thread would have been well received...
