I will ask again, the last I talked to them them the were going to be shorthanded manning the shop and coming to the event would mean closing the shop. In the years past they were not running a facility that was open to the pubic. I wanted them there because their prices were great for people looking to sample with sps and they brought a great variety of corals with them. The only down side is that Reef-A-Palooza is an event that is to promote captive raised corals and that is definitely not their business focus. We will have representatives from several dealers that do specialize in captive raised corals. Companies like:FragFarmer, Garrett's Acropolis, ReefFarmers, Jendub, and I am currently trying to get some coral farmers from www.exoticreefs.us in the Bay Area.

Corals that I got, from Fragfarmer.com
!, all white with bright blue polyps.
2,a table, flourescent green base, with blue and purple tips.
3,What I call the cactus. flourescent green base with burgundy tips.
Grate looking corals

I have a 55 gallon tank, stand and canopy I can bring if anyone is interested. $75.00. I also have 2 duel 55 watt PCs to fit it for $100.00. I also have live sand and some nice live rock. I have cleaned it up some since the picture.

will Marine Depot Allow Customers to pick up orders on that day?
Gabe, Unfortunately, per MD management, the answer is "no." They will not have the staffing to handle "will call orders" on that day.

that sucks, I was hoping to pick up somethings while I was there. OH well, i bet they would get a lot of business if they did allow will call that day.

Good question Gabe, not so good answer.
O'well maybe someone will have a couple of bags of sand "For Sale"???
I might have a new tank by then.
See U there.

dude they could easly make it worth their while if they were to do will call that day.. i have a $200 i would do will call that day but guess i will have it delivered.. i was going to get some salt toa..

Come on Greg talk them into it... say its for the fellow reefers! lol

Greg do you do magic??
So what time is the magic show??
The kids are really going to like that.
Just having some fun, poor greg.

No magic on this one guys. The problem is that if Marine Depot is open for business as normal on that day, they are not really donating the space for the event but advertising. By them making this sacrifice, they show that all others are welcome at the event whether they are Marine Depot's clients or competitors. I think it was important decision and that is why Marine Depot is not mentioned in the original advertisements of the event. Although their contribution was huge, they are gracious enough to stand side by side with the other sponsors of the event.

Hey Steve,
Maybe 60 to 80 lbs. What do you have?? Looking for extra-fine stuff.
Might be changing my 90 for another 90. Have crush coral now 2-5mm.
Looking to go back to sand and mix a little crush coral in with the sand.
I like the look of that have it on my new little 40.
Thanks

i will have a bunch of different mushrooms and some other softies to offer. looking foward to putting a face to some of the peeps on this forum. props to greg for putting so much time and effort.
Greg next time you should rent out hmm a legion hall and charge everyone for the same experience. still wondering how much the peeps who organized the swap in ontario made at 25.00 a head and a line out the door.:eek2:
