Chris let me know if anyone drops off a 280 gallon tank w/stand in your driveway lol.

 we've been working on painting the outside of the house (can you say crap everywhere) so these pumps could have been there for who knows how long before i saw them(i knew i was getting them but didnt know when).

a friend of mine is getting out and selling everything, haven't gotten a list of what yet but he has a 90 corner, 75, 55 ,skimmers, RO, fish, LR, if you are interested?

Simply change out the tubing then flush internal parts with with caustic overnight. Bromine is a gas. Bromate is an oxidizer. Flush with thiosulfate (PRIME) after the caustic wash.

Bromine or Hydrogen bromide will discolor most tubings and rubbers to purple/red color. It is a possible pump for a waste water plant effluent but the possibilities are endless.

Common sense would replace all tubing, and inspect internal parts for corrosion/wear and contamination. Some water treatment polymers will insolubilize when improperly stored. I would really recommend an overnight caustic to take up any residual product and reinspect parts.
