I've actually got one somewhere mate, it's from a year ago and I'm holding the Birdsnest. I'll have a look and see if I can find it because there won't be any upgrade anytime soon

top pics ! my dream tank! :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

pretty much this. My girlfriend doesn't know a whole lot about reef tanks, but after setting up my new tank she seems to be getting more interested. When she asked what my long term goals were for the tank, I showed her your pics.

Hi I have been looking at your tank thread for ages and what can I say that hasn't been said before!
Just simply the most inspiring tank I have seen! well done.
may I ask what variety the two acros are in post 901
Picture 3 blue stag and picture 4 blue acro behind the pink hystrix?
I love the combination of green stag and blue but I'm struggling to find a good blue stag.
many thanks justin.

I was hoping no one would notice him biggles!!! He's way too quick and every time I try to catch him he scoots off to his secret lair to plot his next move

I was going to ask if I could borrow Kevin as I hear he's pretty good at this sort if thing

Biggles I think it could be harmful only when it dies

He is my cleaning machine Tiziano :D

Hi Justin and thank you very much :)
Down in Australia we very rarely get names for our Acropora from suppliers. Unless you go searching for specific pieces on the AIMS database then most of the time you will never know the names. Stags in Australia we just class as stags and both of the pieces you have asked about are stag, pic 3 is just blue stag and pic 4 is a piece that myself and a friend of mine named as "The Dirty Purple" stag which has now become it's permanent name
Sorry I couldn't be of much help, Scotty

Hi Scotty,

I like your clam on the sand bed. How long have you had it?

Cheers

Bulent

Hi Bulent :)

Thank you mate. I've had him for nearly a year now and he's thriving under the T5. I was a bit concerned about keeping clams under T5 as I had been told they wouldn't survive but so far so good, no loss of colour or no signs of I'll health :)

That's really a good news. I assume it is growing too. Because you have so many bulbs, the clam must be getting plenty of energy (read this as PAR) to sustain its growth requirements. Normally I would recommend that a clam be placed higher up on rock structures as they do not have any light saturation points. Te more light they get the faster they will grow.

I used to keep clams (Tridacna crocea and Tridacna squamosa) and absolutely loved them. They were my favorite animals.
