Scotty & Tammy's 4x4x2 SPS tank

Wow... Scotty, thanks for the update pictures. Now I know what kind of fish I can add into tank.

Your no-rock-seen tank are quite different than Mike Paletta style, but I really like it a lot.

All is looking great as usual matey.

With regards to feeding a lot less now...what effect if any has it had on the fish? I ask because previouly you were feeding a whole lot more.

Also any tips you can provide in keeping Anthias? I am going to try get some Dispars.

Thanks.

Nice update Scotty. I love your tank and try to create that "bushy" look in my own tank, but in a much smaller scale.

What is your latest alkalinity reading? Have you ever kept your tank under 7 dKH?

Have you got any intention to change your tube combination? I am changing my tubes next month and might try your combination (perhaps without purple +).

Cheers

Bulent

Scotty it's about 20% a week..:eek2:

About 15% mate, it's just over 1000L total :)

Hi sahin how are you mate?

Well I can answer both of those questions in 1 answer!

When I was feeding heavily I had just over 50 mixed anthias in the tank, but over the years the anthia have slowly disappeared. I'm now down to 1 Flavacaudia anthia so that's reason for not feeding as much now so don't worry my fish are still extremely healthy and I'm not the best person to ask about successfully keeping anthia! :lolspin:

Hi Bulent and thank you :D

Up until a couple of months ago before I started hacking into colonies my Alkalinty reading was sitting at 6.5 constantly. Since I've started hacking into a few colonies I've had to monitor alk closely and drop the dosing down a little, at the moment it's sitting around 7.5

I don't have any intentions on changing my tube combo, I've even given it to a couple of blokes here in Aus and they had success with it too so the way I look at it is, don't fix it if it ain't broke ;)

I need an up to date BFC number on the display tank please Scotty. :fish1:

Hey biggles :)

Ok you got me stumped with BFC number?

Fantastic!
I loved the used of varying close focus. The shot of the shortcake in the foreground and the purple acro in back made me go 'ooooooh'
And the wide shot of the tangs and the rabbitfish swimming by in succession was great.
What a crazy healthy tank!!
Nice work on the tank and the vid!!
It always stuns me when I see these videos and photos that are completely crystal clear. My tank constantly has debris floating around..

Love your tank! I saw the youtube video awhile back. didn't know you were the owner till now!!!

Just saw your latest youtube video you posted today !!! Amazing!

Scotty, wonderful video and above all"¦"¦"¦... wonderful colors :bounce3:

Thank you Tiziano, the colours have been really good as of late, keeping the nutrient a little lower seems to be doing the trick :)
