Beautiful.
Is that a conch eyeball looking up at us in the bottom left corner of the blue polyped orange monti shot?

Lovely one. So rich in its red.

Wow beautiful tank Scotty.. I am trying to figure mine out as its a mess. I'm fairly new been doing this for 3 years. Had a question how high do you keep your ATI lights above water level.

As soon as my hatred for you declines, you upload some pics and remind me all of the things i hate about you:p:p

After all this time your tank continues to impress me like the first time i saw it mate:beer:
So beautiful corals and colors!!

Thanks mate :) the Robusta has done quite well in my tank and it's one of my favourite pieces.

Thank you very much :) I vary the height of my lights as the seasons change here in Oz. During winter I run the 10-15cm off and during summer I run 30-40cm depending on how hot it gets.

Awesome work matey. Happy New Year to you and your family.

Thank you Sahin and the same to you my friend :D

Hahhaha thanks Mike and sorry at the same time :lolspin:
My routines have changed as of late for 2 reasons. No1 is the tank colonies are so big now that they seem to eat up the nutrient pretty well so I've cut back my WC's to every 2 weeks, the other reason is I've just been too busy and haven't had the time I did before so in the end it's all worked out ok.
I pulled my refugium out a while back because macro just wasn't growing, I'm still running GFO and GAC in reactors with the only other nutrient removal being the skimmer.

Happy new year to you too buddy, I hope you have been well :)

Happy New Year Scotty! Congrats on the bundle of joy! I remember you mentioned that was one of the reasons you took down the entryway tank (you did actually tear it down, right?). New Years' baby! :D Did you guys get the local "first baby of the year" award?

What's this Acro? If it's not named, do you know the species? That would look PERFECT at the top of my right rock structure. :D Do you have any idea what PAR you have it under? Is it as yellow as it looks on my screen or more of a lime-yellow?

The bubs isn't quite here yet but not long to go now! You're correct this was one of the few reasons I broke down the other tank.

I did find the name of this acro I just can't remember it off of the top of my head, when I get a chance I'll look it up for you :) it's up medium-high in the tank so it would be under 400 PAR roughly and it's slightly more yellow in real life than it is in the photo :)

Congratulations Scotty and really pleased to hear that Tammy and the new bubs are both home safe and sound

Do you think Tammy would take a pic of you dipping the baby's feet in the display - acros bring good luck as you know and the more colorful the more luck............. :reading:

I think it would be best if you leave my name out of it when you broach the subject tbh :)

Congrats bud:beer:
That "reef dipping initiation" andrew mentioned isn't a bad idea:p

Hey, hey, hey Mike, don't go trying to pass your baby dipping idea off onto me buddy, this is exactly the same thing that Sahin tried to pull on Scotty's journal a while back. If Tammy cracks it - you will be the one facing the music, not me mate.
