I could have sworn Worth told me the AOW was $ 250.00. Can you recheck? Also, I am unclear about the tanks. How many are included and how many need to be rented at what total cost above the course price?
Thanks

Sorry if there's confusion: I have confirmed prices. Regarding tanks:, tanks are not included for AOW. Some might already have tanks.

Discount% on Rental Tanks ($8.00 x 7TK = $56.00)
Discount% on Rental Equipment Package 01 ($35.00)

He thinks we will likely do 7 dives. So yes another $56 for tanks, if you need them. If you need less; then $8 per tank for those you need.

For those needing equipment it will be $35 per day for rental equipment.

I was under the impression that the AOW certification price included everything like the previous basic open water course..

So if I choose the night dive I will have to rent the flash lights, glow sticks, signal device, reel with line, BCD, air tank, and wet suit? And that would be just for one of the seven dives?

Thanks

 Will it be the same as this last one? If so, why did it go up $100?

Agreed why the $100 price increase, there really is not much of a incentive to go through FMAS now, when most dive shops are about the same price. Before it was a big incentive.

The $ 300 is for ADVANCED Open Water, not the initial Basic Open Water. But nevertheless I found the AOW for cheaper online and it is at the same address! For $ 380.00 you get AOW Certification, Nitrox Certification, ALL Boat dives, not Beach dives and all Tanks are included.

Why the increase I don't know, its up to him.

$300 is the same BOW course previously offered for $200. The initial was an "introductory price".

You make it 300 you'll get like 2 or 3 people doing it. You make it 200 you'll be turning down people cuz u have too many. Seems like 200 would make them more money to me.

 Will it be the same as this last one? If so, why did it go up $100?

must have set the price to low in a effort to help us out. its not like thats profit. registering you with padi, renting the room, renting the equipment, pool time, booklets, insurance if you die on his time,,, all ads up.

but agreed 300 is more of a going rate instead of group discount.

Ok $200 is amazing but $300 really isn't that bad!! Let's get some ppl into the BOW class. The cheapest I found in south fl was 450 with books without taxes. So we r still saving like $150. In my opinion itsucks to see ppl just get I last month for $200 but is still an oppertunity I don't want to pass up for $300.

Sean: The minimum needed is 8. My GF wants to do the weekday class. At this point we have lots of open slots for both.

AOW also has open slots, but this weekend might not be a good idea since weather is expected to worsen due to tropical wave.
