Trying to configure the flow in my new tank. Remember 4 wide, 3 feet front to back. I have one Vortech MP40, BUT, I've never used it. I've set them up on 2 other tanks. Both 180's, with them on the side panes opposing each other.
I have 2 programable Tunze streams. They are INDESTRUCTIBLE. They ran for 4 years in my 180. I cleaned them.....oh yeah....NEVER. Never had a problem with them.
Trying to think about how to incorporate the 2 of them with the Vortech, all on the back wall of the tank. Should I try to sell the Tunzes (paid over $700 for the pair)? If I could get even $300 for them, I could grab another MP40 without breaking the bank.
Would 2 Vortechs on the 4 foot back wall, with 2 penductors at the front top facing back towards the vortechs to create a gyre be enough for the whole 200 gallons? I could throw an MJ in the back along the bottom on a timer to "storm" every 12 hrs or something to help with dead spots?
Long winded I know.......or should I just use the Tunzes and keep the Vortech in the middle back??????
Opinions please.
