September Collecting Trip!

Since I am in East Quogue , hopefully I will meet you all down there.. Is everyone going down to the southeast corner of the Ponquogue Bridge by the boat ramp....

no i'm pretty sure we are meeting at atlantis and going to the collecting site from there (not ponquogue bridge). I was planning on diving at the bridge after the collecting but with this weather i'm not sure its worth it.

Ok Thanks...I was down there Sunday collecting water for my tank and some guys were scuba diving by the rocks at beach side of the inlet.. It was a nice day for it!!

After all of this, I just realized I will not be making it. I have my alumni hockey game to play in...

Have a great time... :)

The beach we're collecting at is sometimes known as Swan Beach, which is on Montauk Hwy and Shinnecock Bay.
Basically you take Rte. 24 to Montauk Hwy, go east on Montauk Hwy and where Montauk Hwy goes down the water of Shinnecock Bay, thats where we'll be, its about mid way between Rte 24 and Southampton College.
We hope to be by the beach by 10:15-10:30.

Thanks ,
I know where Swan Beach is. It will be easier for me to just head down there around 10:00..

I know that in years gone by, Joe has discouraged people from driving and meeting at the beach, because of very limited parking at the beach.
I'm not going this year, so it really doesn't mean much to me at all, but that could be setting a troublesome precident.

hey guys great time today playing in the water
thank you for having our club join you guys

and thanks to joe and the rest of the atlantis crew for everything they made us feel at home.and the kids had a great time snorkeling to(so did dad)
