WOOOOOHOOOOO, I am finally adding salt:dance: :beer:
I put in a heater and a temp guage the SG is currently
at 1.019. Return pump is running full bore and my
massive skimmer is getting warned up nicely
Temp is climbing slowly from 68.6 to now 70.3.
The cloudiness is starting to subside and
I will add more salt pretty soon.
This is a good day and can't wait until the weekend

Thank you Chris, I had to tighten the union on the return pump but since then no leaks I went through the same feeling when NanoGurl was setting up her 75 (Awsome tank by the way!)
I hooked up the RODI line to the float and the water level is now at it's max. I just check SG (1.021) and added the last of the salt, I should be at 1.023-1.024 to match my other 2 tanks.
The pumps are a little to loud so I might have to start building the front facade this weekend to help muffle the sound.
Maybe it's time to look for replacement pumps, these Gen-x 40's are 6 years old and might have seal/bearing problems starting. Not sure what a good replacement should be?

I have about 60lbs in the 46, 30 lbs in the 20 and 55 lbs in the tub. 145 LBS total, I am going to try and get what I have all in place and see how it looks. If I need more, I will search my local reef club here on RC for some good deals.
Man this is almost as hard as waiting for it to fill up with water, it looks ready....just a little more time!!!!
