Sexy Shrimp eating Monti Cap??

Hi all,

I have a JBJ 24 gallon Nano DLX with the upgraded HQI lighting. I recentley got a Monti Cap from teh LFS which is about 3 inches wide and pink.

But over the last two days it's taken on a horrible condition. It honestly looks like something has been eating it. The once pink exterior looks like it's been picked away until the white skeleton underneath is visible.

The only thing I've been noticing is that my Sexy Shrimp has moved from my red yumas to this Monti Cap. It's been all over the cap and I'm honestly considering that it's the cause.

I don't want to see the Monti Cap die. I am more than willing to try and build a trap to capture the shrimp if needed. But I wanted to know if anyone else ever heard of this.

Not the shrimp.
Check the underside of the monti for tiny (less than 1/4 inch) white nudibranchs.
