Shallow reef tank Club

xtm, what do you have for flow in your tank. in the build thread, you said you wanted o externally attach the wave box, how would that be accomplished?

I would have to drill a hole for the Tunze and just glue the wavebox outside. However due to lack of time, I didn't pursue this design.

UPDATE: I re-aquascaped my tank to accommodate the SPS' upwards growth. I dropped the shelf rocks close to the sandbed, but they are "floating" to allow good waterflow underneath. What do you guys think of the new aquascape?

I also learned how to take nice macro shots, thanks to the Photography forum :D

I never knew anything about digital cameras (macros, aperture, F-stop, iso, etc) and all that until I started reading in the Photography forum. So I played with my camera settings and OMG!!! :eek2: what a day and night difference!! I never knew my cheap point and shoot can do macros really well:

does my 70x22x24 qualify as shallow?
it does lose 2 inches from up and another 2 inches from down as the canopy an stand cover 2 inches of the tank so in reality I see a 70x22x20
So is it worthy of the Shallow Reef Tank Club?
Didn't want to break any club rules by posting pics before I check :D
