Shallow reef tank Club

Thanks, that neon sign does rock! Just need to move it a bit to fit the new tank in.

I'm rolling the dice with my new and still in the box Solaris I5 LED light system I won at Reefapalooza last year. I upgraded my winning for a larger size, so we will see how she goes!

yes I remember now, the DIY guys are getting pretty good at fixing them. Maybe you can find a repairman in the area to help whe it starts failing.

I say use it until it breaks, who knows, it may never break. Then you can research their thread, buy some tools and go to town.

I love it, no wonder Jason wants to build one just like it.:D
Thanks Nick. :)

I'm having some trouble with some of my polyps now that I added a second pendant over the tank though. Hopefully they'll just adjust to the more intense lighting and I won't lose anything. The SPS is going bananas now though. :D

I really want anthias and was wondering if they are hard to keep?
Personally I don't think so. People do have better luck with certain types of them though. The most common ones I see are Lyretail's, and my Bartlett's also seem to be pretty hardy... but are fairly aggressive.

;) just finished road tuning the waste gate duty cycles last week... VF39 now kicking full boost @3600 RPM ;) WOOT!!!

i am actualy probably going to trade this tank with someone for more material... i did not have long enough scraps so this is what i made but what im going to trade for is 32X24" sheets so i should be able to make a 30X24X16 which is what i originally wanted anyways lol i know only a few inchest but they ar worth for me!! lmoa...

Thanks.

Thanks Gresham!

I added the black backgound this weekend, reconfigured the fishroom to fit the sump so all I need now is a plumber and some time!

Yeah, right! :eek1: I did get Brian to do some killer plumbing work on the other system though!

I did just get off the phone with the plumber and I just need to be here is all ... leaving for vacation for the 4th and then up to Toronto for work next week! Maybe mid-july it can get done!

It's "All We'll Drive". ;)

Thanks nick :) i been dying to hit the track i want to see my trap speeds with the VF39 ;)

I just welded the base on the tank too ;) woot!!!!! couple of small bubbles but nothing to worry about. Soon as i get back from vegas on tues, im doing the water test, and if all is well the overflow teeth will be cut, box welded on, and brace.

Almost there!!!! im ecstatic. lol

My lights just went out but i will snap a few update pics tomorrow ;).... still cycling but all looks good. I am currently in the cyano/diatom stage. Hopefully it will be over soon..... the frags i put in there are starting to color up, since they were in my dads tank taht spiked up to like 86deg about a week before i set my tank up :(.... but the micro is making a good come back. The SPS are starting to color up again, but i will just let the pics do the talking tomorrow.

Thanks.
