Nick name growing up was always Danimal. Because name is Dan and growing up I was a trouble maker / animal. Now that I am older a few years back I realized I had a 3 teenage daughters at the same time, that year Danimal switched to crabby Dan. Plus the crabby is a nice aquarium pun.

When I worked on a contract for IBM they gave all employees/contractors a user name. Your first initial, a number to make it unique, the first 5 letters of your last name. Apparently there were 6 other P William when I got there. I have never come across any site where it was already taken.

I've been a whitewater kayaking nut doing class V's and then some until I had to hop on the dirt bike for one last whoora at our local fair grounds that ended up in disaster. I did it again but so much worse this time another broken back, neck injury which left me disabled and no longer to enjoy those activities again. Then one day my good friend was tossing his 29gal glass fish tank into the trash and I said hey I'll take that from you since the one I had at home was only 10 gal. Next thing I'm cleaning it setting it up and filling it up with live rocks and fish and haven't looked back. Thus why I call myself a Saltwatertanknut. Very greatful to find such an amazing hobby/job to keep me so level minded while maintaining it and also so relaxed when I'm all done caring for it allowing me to enjoy the breath taking life of the sea but in my home! Saving to get a 180-300 gal tank next.
