Here's my girl (yes it's a girl). She's a Maldive sand shark (in the cat shark family) she is almost 2 feet and I've had her for just over a year or so. Hides a ton but swims all the time especially when hungry or it's night time.

Ever seen River Monsters?

He already said he didn't have cable to watch Shark Week with his daughter, how could he watch River Monsters?

If it's stories of sharks, then it's a bull shark, as I said they survive in fresh water. I'd rather get attacked by a great white then bull shark any day of the week that is how dangerous they are.

Awesome sand shark!!

Are there bullsharks along the pacific coast, northern California? Wow. We have a nice seal population so I figure we have sharks, just not the type.

That shark is adorable! I can't wait to show my daughter her picture when I pick her up after school! She won't believe me lol

Stupid question but I have to ask... do you know anyone who actually has a great white, tiger, or hammer head?

I know a Great white has been in captivity but only lasted about a month maybe 3 at the most- they end up passing away. For Some reason they are unable to stay alive in captivity.
The georgia aquarium was built specifically for a whale shark and they even have a kids sleep over a few times a year. You used to be able to get a Leopard shark but has become illegal off the coast of California. The hammerhead would out grow just about any of our tanks and maybe to aggressive.
