Concept aquatics from Calgary made it, I'm very happy with it. I was surprised how big it is even though I had the stand already made, these dimensions will allow some nice interesting rockwork and my fish are going to love me:inlove:

Yes, those dimensions will give you some great space for aquascaping. That new rock you got looks really nice. Looking forward to seeing it in your tank.

I don't have a date yet for my tank, its getting there. They sent pictures yesterday (on my build post). Looks like all they need to do is put the eurobrace on.

I already started on the rockwork, but for the majority I have to wait for the tank to fill up so I can use my existing live rock for the rest of the aqua scape and not have it die from being out of the water.
To create open airy rockwork I'm using Fibreglass rods and epoxy that way I won't ever have cave ins or falling rock, because epoxy alone is not enough

Those mirrored doors give you the illusion that nothing is under the tank, very clever. You could build props for magicians.

Your dog looks pretty laid back, I'm surprised he or she isn't driven crazy seeing his or her reflection.

I never realized those were mirrored doors. I looked at the pictures a few times and I tried to figure out what happened to the liquid membrane stand. Wow... very nice!

Yes my current 110 is only 18" front to back which has been a real challenge for rockwork and coral placement, so I'm so pleased with the 36" front to back of the new one

Thanks primo, the idea of no teeth is its a very thin sheet of water that flows over so not enough for fish and inverts to go over, plus it's supposed to be dead quiet on provides the 100% surface skimming, which apparently is where the proteins are where the water meets the air, nothing wrong with teeth though, my 110 has them but does have noise and splatting because of it, in due time I'll post the difference.

Yes my chihuahuas are laid back and they use the mirrors to look at us in the reflections, they're very smart

Created my arch so far with the Marco rock I ordered, I can't wait to do the rest of the rockwork but I have to get some water in here so I keep my live rock alive

Cool love the shape of the tank. At first I was like "that stand wont hold the weight!" But then I realized that there were more supports and it was just a mirror. Might have to steal that idea of the mirrors:spin3:

The whole room is looking great. I don't understand why you wouldn't keep the existing tank and replace the TV with a third tank. This would allow you to do a FOWLR, an azoos tank and a reef tank.

Thanks Dave, I used to have a seperate frag tank system and having 2 different systems was too much work and would require too much expense to have good equipment on both, this way I can have one large system with good equipment

i keep wanting to play around with some acrylic fabrication but the price for an acrylic sheet is crazy.
can we get a shot of how you organized your electrical stuff?
also i noticed you didn't go with a foam insulation board under the tank? any reason i was under the impression it was needed for a rimless tank?

and yes it's not cheap unless you have enough projects to be worth a whole sheet then it saves you money over pre made acrylic stuff
Not much to see for electrical yet because I'm waiting to get my equipment from the 110 that is still in operation, it has my battery backup power bar, the profilux with its power bar.
As for the foam I did a lot of research and conclusion was its a matter of preference, but the shop that built my tank said no point to it because they built the tank with extra thick bottom glass and attached that to a plywood bottom to protect it from damage so the foam would do nothing but be a pain to slide the tank on without damaging the foam.
