shipping?

Im a little un clear on how to get an estimate as far as shipping goes. When I order my package for a 75 gallon tank, the weight comes out to about 250 pounds. So I pay a dollar per pound to the air lines?

I don't know what the current going rate is for airfreight, but It was closer to .50 / lb when I did mine. It all depends on the shipment, but Richard should be able to give you a per/lb ballpark. You pay the airline when you pick it up.

Don't forget there will be weight with the water Richard ships this stuff in. My 24g package pt 1 came in at just over 100 pounds if I recall correctly.

Also, shipping rates will depend on the carrier. I used Southwest (which I highly recommend). Their cost per pound was well under 1$.

At any rate, give Richard the airport as he requested above and he can tell you what airlines he can use.

Southwest...about .75 cents a pound first 1/2 will be about 200#...second 1/2 a bit less...

I would prefer Hobby Airport, but Bush Intercontinental would work too.
