This wont exactly be a build thread since it wont show step by step picks, but it will show more of what iv been up to for the past month or so. Im open to any comments and suggestions so FIRE AWAY!

First we have the tank. Its a 180 aga reef ready tank with right around 180lbs of live rock with a mix of bali, tonga fuzion (see pacificeastaquaculture) and figi. The rock is almost covered in diatoms but there is no more ammonia and no nitrites.

After much debate about the cost, I decided to go with the Tunze TS24 kit which is 2 6100Streams a 7095 controller, and the photocell with the 29 day cycle moon light.

Here is a pic of the fish room, AKA the back corner of my basement.

A close up of the RO/DI system I got it from purelyh20 its the optima vision ce with DI addon kit. This ro/di kicks serious butt i love the dual TDS meter. A booster pump was also needed since my psi wasnt strong enough.

The skimmer, its a ASM G4x.. iv been cleaning the collection cup out every day so far it seems to be doing a great job.

The sump and fuge are both 100 gallon rubbermaid tank.. Here is the fuge with some chaeto that i added the other day. The ripples in the water are from a power head, i still feel im not getting enough water entering the fuge though.

Here is the beast ill be using for all dosing purposes, from top off water to Randys 2 Part mixes. Aqua Medic Quadro

Here is how water changes will be done. I T'ed off the return and ran it right over to the sink i plumbed into the basement. The lines in the sink represent 5, 10, and 15 gallons the very top of the sink is 20 gallons.

And this is the support I put under the tank. Wasnt 100% sure if I needed it but better safe then sorry... I think i could park a couple cars in my living room now.

nice work...looking good.
i am also using the G4X...im curious to know how high the water level us INSIDE your skimmer.

Man, you don't mess around. Those rubbermaids make the G4x look like a G2.

Love the rock stack!

What are you using for a return pump?

lol thanks, i actually moved them around alittle to give more front swimming room so ill have to get some new pics.

im using a reeflo barracuda that is hiding between the 2 tanks

Gooli the water is close to the top of the cone i guess... im getting some pretty thick bubbles and foam out of the G4x i cant wait to see how well it works once i get more fish in there.. i added the 4 fish i previously had yesturday and they all seem to be doing pretty well

As a 180 gallon tank ~ 2000#, thats a small car anyways.
