Mchava- wow, your tank is looking amazing! Who built your tank? I'm looking into an upgrade here soon and am weighing my options. Your dimensions are pretty much exactly what I was thinking, but maybe 18" tall. I'm loving your corner overflow as well.

Leemar huh, I didn't think they did rimless tanks. I know they make great tanks and are located in CA so that's also a plus. If you mind me asking how much was your tank? Shoot me a PM if you'd like.

Jay, I have a 150 radium on my 12 gallon nano. I think the 150 radium is way more white that the 250's on my display.

I have had this radium since early June of this year. I haven't noticed any drastic drop off of intensity but I don't have a PAR meter to back that up. From what I've read the DE 150w radium doesn't suffer from the short run times like the 400w version. My corals are still growing like crazy(better then phoenix) and have pretty good color IMO. I agree with mpoletti, the 150w radium is very white and it looks nothing like a 20k. My phoenix was far more blue. I really like the color of the radium supplemented with the single 24w actinic.

myzislow, what bulb are you running for the t5?

I've considered running radiums... but if it's not the bulb, I might go ahead and go with aquaconnects.

I'm using a retrofitted 24w Geismann powerchrome pure actninc along with the radium in a sun pod. It really helps things pop.

Look like I will be joining in this club soon...I just place an order for the below:

3 x galaxy ballast 400w
3 x radium 400w bulbs

and supplements with 8 x 39w T5 with the following layout...

Will share once I have it all hooked up !!

Do you have supplemental lighting with your radiums? Are they 250w or 400w?? I just switched to 250w with an HQI ballast and I think it looks a little too blue. I also have 4 T5's, ordered some different bulbs than what I currently have on it, but they haven't arrived yet. I really like the color of your tank.

That shot is only with 1x400w radiums on Lumantek Ballast SE.. I have 2x24 T5 but only use it 2 hrs before and 2 hrs after..thanks
